Look out for Crochet Club workshops, where in small groups you can learn the basic crochet stitches or learn to master the famous Granny Square – our most popular workshop!
All materials are provided, as well as lashings of t hot and cold drinks and homemade cake.
Groups are kept to a maximum of 6 to ensure that you get the chance to receive one to one assistance and that everyone goes home having learned something new!
Invites are sent out after workshops to invite you to join our private Crochet Club group on Facebook where you can keep in touch with your new crafting friends, and share with us your makes after you’ve left the workshop. It’s a great place for hints and tips and I regularly share tutorials, special offers and much more. You’ll also be first in line to hear about any upcoming workshops.
Once you’ve attended one of our starter workshops – you’ll find a varied selection of more advanced workshops where you’ll start to look at patterns and be able to leave the session with a finished ‘something’…Mandala’s are always popular and you go away with the hook, the yarn, and the pattern so that you can make even more!
It seems to be that if you’re left-handed, it can be quite tricky to find someone who can teach you to crochet – my technique is this…I’ll teach you to crochet exactly as I do, as a right-hander – and guess what, it works!
If you want to get your own group of friends together and book a private crochet party then just get in touch – we can work around skill levels and come up with the perfect make for you to take home afterward – how about crocheted flower brooches?
